Max Mabry, Quin Quire

Max Mabry knows why he has been sent to Master Quin Quire, and he knows better than to expect an easy welcome. Seated, bound and waiting, the experienced slave boy is immediately reminded that everything from this point forward will happen on Sir’s terms. Quin raises Max to his feet, inspects him closely and makes sure the boy understands the rules: listen before you react, speak only when spoken to, keep your eyes where they belong and move only when you are told.
